Hello, my name is Aj Soliz, also known as Recruit Soliz. I have been in the delayed entry program for quit a while now. I am currently building this website to help better inform the public of what exactly the Marines and the Delayed Entry Program (D.E.P) has to offer.

The D.E.P from my experience can be summed up in conditioning for boot camp, with a much lighter side. I found out more about myself through this particular program than I ever have before. Just by listening to my recruiter on what he had to share with me and socializing with such a diverse group of individuals I grew into a much stronger person.

Now for the marines, well there are only two people who truly know the Marines; the only people who really know them are fellow Marines and the enemy. Yet of course I can tell you as much as I know. The United States Marine Corps is the one and only branch that actually spends time learning the history and pride of where the Marines came from. With that fact alone it sets the Marines into a entirely different bracket of mind mentalities, such as pride and commitment.
